30th Annual Pan-African Graduation Celebration

The Pan-African Graduation Celebration Committee invites you to join them as they celebrate the academic accomplishments of Pan-African students at CSULB. Registering after April 24 will not guarantee your name to be listed in the memory booklet.

Cost to Participate:

$40 Registration fee and $5 per additional Guest Ticket

Submit your cash or money order payment to the Associated Students Business Office (ASBO: USU-229) and turn in your payment receipt to Student Life and Development (SLD: USU-215) by 5:00 pm on Monday, April 24, 2017.

Participants Will Receive:
  • 3 Complimentary Guest Tickets
  • 10 Celebration Announcements with Envelopes
  • Kente Cloth Sash
  • Certificate of Participation
  • Celebration T-shirt
  • Light Refreshments
  • Group Photo emailed after the event

Graduates Check In: Celebration Rehearsal and Check In at 9:00 am at the Pyramid on Saturday, May 20

 

Dear Pan-African Graduate,

Congratulations on your graduation from California State University, Long Beach!  Your time spent at this university will prove to be one of the most significant experiences of your life.

Graduates are required to wear a cap and gown, which are available for rent at the University Bookstore. All graduates are to arrive for the rehearsal at the CSULB Pyramid on May 20, 2017 no later than 9:00 AMWe ask that the graduates arrive for the rehearsal dressed for the celebration.  You will not have time to leave after the rehearsal.

All Graduate and Undergraduate Speakers, Poets, and African Dancers who want to speak/perform at the graduation must e-mail csulbblackgrad30@gmail.com to schedule their auditions. Please email the Graduation Committee at csulbblackgrad30@gmail.com with any questions.
