Yoga for Healing
CSULB Student Health Services currently offers a yoga series to support student wellness called Yoga for Healing. This is an 8-week structured series for survivors of sexual assault, abuse and relationship violence. Our university believes in all forms of healing and this program explores reconnection to the self through mind, body, and spirit. This program provides survivors the means of becoming reacquainted with their bodies, helps them become grounded in the present moment, and allows them to explore the benefits of mindfulness as they link breath to movement in guided practice and meditation.
