STI and HIV Testing and Counseling
Due to the current health advisory, Student Health Services is open for essential services only, such as acute illnesses. At this time, we are not open for routine appointments such as STI testing, wellness exams, or routine immunizations; these services will be postponed until further notice.
Testing for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) is available at the Student Health Services and results are ready within a few days. You will meet with a clinician who will meet with you and order your tests.
The following STI tests are available at Student Health Services:
The cost for the STI tests listed above is approximately $52.50 and is subject to change. If you have Family PACT, the STI tests will be free of charge. To learn more about Family PACT, click here.
To schedule an appointment for STI Testing, call the Student Health Services at (562) 985-4771.
The Student Health Services also collaborates with off-campus organizations to provide free STI and HIV testing in different locations on campus throughout the academic year. These organizations bring their mobile unit, which often looks like a van or an RV, and provide free testing.
Health Educators are available to meet with you to discuss your diagnosis, talking to your partner, safer sex, and next steps. You can also bring your partner to the session. You can schedule an appointment by calling (562) 985-4609 or book online through the patient portal.
