Reproductive Health

Due to the current health advisory, Student Health Services is open for essential services only, such as acute illnesses. At this time, we are not open for routine appointments such as Reproductive Health Visits, STI testing, or wellness exams; these services will be postponed until further notice.

Free reproductive health visits are provided by a licensed clinician.

Annual Reproductive Health Exams are a head-to-toe physical examination which may include the following:

  • Breast examination
  • Pap test (a screening test for potential cervical cancer that begins at age 21)
  • STI testing (such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis and HIV)
  • Pelvic examination (optional until age 21)

Reproductive Health Exams are encouraged on an annual basis. Your sexual and reproductive health are equally as important as the rest of your health.

If you are interested in birth control, we offer all of the most common types in our clinic such as:

  • The Birth Control Pill
  • Nuvaring
  • Nexplanon Implant
  • Intrauterine contraceptive (IUC)
  • Depo Provera shot

Family PACT is a California program that provides free reproductive health care for men and women who qualify.
