    NCAA Division 1 Championships / Distinctions

    • For the fourth year in a row, CSULB won the Big West Commissioner's Cup for 2013-14, which recognizes CSULB as having the most successful athletic department in the Big West Conference. The 49ers have won the award in five of the last six seasons.

    • Women's Tennis, Men's Track & Field, and Softball all captured Big West championships in 2013-14. Men's Track & Field has now won back to back titles, and women's tennis has won the Big West Tournament Championship four years in a row and has won 10 out of the last 11 championships.

    • Championships include: Baseball (4 College World Series, 20 NCAAs), Women's Basketball (2 Final Fours, 18 national tournaments), Women's Soccer (1 Elite Eight, 4 NCAAs), Softball (5 College World Series, 22 NCAAs), Men's Volleyball (1 NCAA title, 5 Final Fours), Women's Volleyball (5 national titles, 34 national tournaments), Men's Water Polo (11 NCAAs).
