Professional Development Opportunities for Student Services Faculty and Staff

The Division of Student Services is committed to the professional development of its employees. A number of individuals were awarded grants for registration and travel to attend conferences supporting student success in areas such as students with psychological problems, equal opportunity programs, professional development, and TRiO programs designed to prepare students for academic success. Individuals from the Career Development Center presented their project partnering with the College of Engineering (page 10). Division colleagues delivered presentations and poster submissions, and networked to enhance their experience and learning.

Questions regarding the training and development grants may be directed to Nancy Eckhous at (562) 985-8262 or
