Body Positive @ The Beach

The Body Positive teaches people how to overcome conflicts with their bodies so they can lead happier, more productive lives. We are dedicated to inspiring youth and adults to value their health, unique beauty, and identity so they can use their vital resources of time, energy, and intellect to make positive changes in their own lives and in the world.

The Be Body Positive Model is comprised of five core Competencies, the fundamental skills we can practice on a daily basis to live peacefully and healthfully in our bodies. When we become proficientócompetentóat using these skills, we are able to care for our whole selves from a place of self-love and appreciation, which allows us to act on our purpose and life goals.

Body Positive @ The Beach is a safe place for students to come together in a supportive environment and consists of 8 sessions:
Session 1: Introduction to Your Body Positive Group
Session 2: Body Messages and Stories
Session 3: Reclaim Health
Session 4: Cultivate Self-Love
Session 5: Declare Your Own Authentic Beauty
Session 6: Beauty Stories
Session 7: Practice Intuitive Self-Care
Session 8: Pleasure, Shame, and Intuitive Sexuality
