Beach Days "Where your future begins"

Beach Days run from Sunday, August 20 to Sunday, August 27 and is a requirement for all residents. In collaboration with our campus partners, Housing and Residential Life has planned a week full of activities, workshops, and events that will prepare you for your residential life experience and equip you with the tools for academic success. As a part of Beach Days we are planning some voluntary excursions. In order for us to get an idea of your interest, we ask that you complete a survey using the following link (https://csulb.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_br8u3MlAJvlOnWd). These trips are a great way to bond with other residents and to get a taste of what the area has to offer.

Meningococcal Vaccination

As a resident in University Housing, you will need to have proof of having received the Meningococcal Vaccination. Proof of this vaccination must be sent to Student Health Services (SHS) no later than Saturday, August 19, 2017. You may email a copy to kandi.dubrall@csulb.edu, fax it to (562) 985-1644 or drop it off at Student Health Services. For your convenience, Student Health Services will be at the move-in locations during check-in.

MicroFridge© and the SafeConcepts©

As a fundraiser, and as a convenience for you, we have partnered with Collegiate Concepts, Inc (CCI) to exclusively provide CSULB residence hall students with the MicroFridge and the SafeConcepts electronic safe exclusively for a number of reasons: superior product, commitment to service, reasonable cost and satisfaction guarantee. In addition, part of the proceeds from each rental or sale goes directly to the Residence Hall Association so that we can plan additional fun activities for you next year.

The MicroFridge consists of a microwave oven and a refrigerator with separate freezer. The true zero degree freezer can store frozen food. And yes, it is Energy Star rated.

The electronic safe allows you to store your valuables such as your wallet/purse, camera, laptop, etc. The unique design allows you to charge your electronic devices while stored in the safe.

Please check out the MicroFridge and the SafeConcepts electronic safe at: http://www.collegefridge.com/95/
