Students are encouraged to apply for University Housing once they have been admitted to the university. Remember that University Housing is not guaranteed. Do not make assumptions or rely on information from other students or campus offices. Refer to Frequently Asked Questions for more information. Step 1 - In order to apply for housing or to apply for an exemption, you must be admitted to the university and have set-up a MyCSULB account.

*Application will take 15-20 minutes to complete. Due to high demand the application portal may not be available on your first attempt. We recommend to keep checking back until you are able to apply.
Step 3 - *Pay a non-refundable service fee of $275. Payment is required to complete the application. (Housing priority is based on the date and time the service fee is paid.)
*If Housing reaches capacity a paid wait list will be created.
