Division of Student Affairs
Donations to the Division of Student Affairs e Division helps provide high-quality services that contribute to the academic and personal success of our students by focusing on their needs outside of the classroom.
CSULB General Scholarship Fund
This fund is used to help the "middle" student. These students fall into a category that limits their eligibility to receive financial aid and, yet, they receive little funds from family. These scholarships are intended to help these "middle" students who currently must work to pay for their education. Contribute to this fund and help students spend less time working and more time studying.
Disabled Student Services Endowment (DSS)
The Bob Murphy Access Center is a student support program within the Division of Student Affairs. Our mission is to assist students with disabilities as they secure their university degrees at California State University, Long Beach. We provide services to over 1,500 students each semester. Over 10,000 students with disabilities have graduated from California State University, Long Beach with support from our program. Distinguished Speaker Series
Each Fall and Spring, the College of Engineering brings together experts to address a high-profile engineering topic. Established in 2009 by the Dean's Advisory Council, the Engineering Distinguished Lecture series draws a wide audience of students, faculty, community members, alumni, and supporters. Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)
The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) at California State University, Long Beach is committed to providing access to historically low-income, and first generation college students. In a holistic environment, the program advocates for students' success and graduation by promoting academic excellence and personal development through comprehensive support services and retention programs. The CSULB Guardian Scholars Program assists current/former foster youth in their educational pursuits by offering services such as academic counseling, financial aid advising, tutoring, mentorship, skills assessment, and math and writing labs throughout their academic career. Senator Jenny Oropeza Endowed Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship provides financial support to an undergraduate or credential student who is an active leader within their community and has career plans to further give to the community. The purpose is to cover a year's worth of tuition to enable the student to continue their path as a leader.
Student Emergency Fund
The CSULB Student Emergency Intervention and Wellness Program is a comprehensive initiative that identifies and immediately serves some of CSULB's most at-risk students which include our displaced students, food insecure students and students experiencing an emergency situation or crisis.
