Presidentís Reception Honors Principal Investigators

On April 16, 2018, President Jane Close Conoley hosted a reception celebrating the achievements of faculty who received grant funding from March 1, 2017 to February 28, 2018. This annual recognition event included invitees and their guests, who joined the president at her home. Introducing the Faculty Research Experience and Expertise (FREE) Database

Faculty Research Experience and Expertise (FREE) is a searchable electronic database that includes research experience and expertise of faculty at CSULB. The purpose of FREE is to foster research collaborations and partnerships among faculty at CSULB, colleagues at other educational institutions, industry partners, and government agencies.

The FREE database is a web-based information system that makes it easy for faculty, staff, students and the public to search or browse faculty research interests and expertise.

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs and the Division of Information Technology jointly developed FREE. Among other things, the FREE database will highlight the wide array of our faculty research expertise, foster research collaborations, and increase the publicís accessibility to our in-house experts.
