30th Annual CSULB Student Research Competition Results

This competition showcased scholarly research and creative activities completed by undergraduate and graduate students, who presented to fellow students and a jury of distinguished faculty.

Replicating the setting of the CSU statewide competition, this competition provided students with a valuable experience. Students were judged on several factors, including clarity of purpose, appropriateness of methodology, interpretation of results, value of the research or creative activity, organization, and each presenterís ability to respond to questions.

There were 55 students showcased across nine discipline-specific categories. Of those competing, 10 students were selected to continue to the CSU statewide competition in May.

The following 10 students will represent CSULB at the statewide competition on May 4-5, 2018:
