Limited Submission Institutional Awards

Many funding agencies place institutional limits on the number of letters of intent, pre-proposals, proposals, or applications that a university can submit in response to a request for proposals.

For purposes of equity, to assure fair opportunity, to improve competitiveness, and to prevent any potential disqualification of submissions by California State University, Long Beach (University), the following policy has been established.

General CSULB Policy and Guidelines for Applying for Limited Submission Funding Opportunities

This policy applies to all limited submission grants and contracts including awards made directly to faculty members except the standing RFPs for the NSF Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) and Research Traineeship Program (NRT) Competitions.
