Aims to innovate educational practices in biotechnology and to support emerging technologies across the CSU. The grants will support the development of innovative curriculum, novel teaching strategies, or shared facilities.
Open to CSU faculty who have yet to win their first external research grant. This program aims to provide CSU faculty with the resources required not only to successfully compete for follow-on, externally funded grants but also to involve CSU students in their scholarship and research programs.
Aims to provide CSU faculty with continuing resources to fill gaps in external funding for ongoing research projects or to pilot new, but as-yet unfunded, research directions for established investigators.
Supports travel to biotechnology-related professional meetings and workshops or to collect biotechnology research data at shared core facilities or specialized research sites. Tenured and tenure-track CSU faculty are eligible for this program.
