Twenty-four middle school girls will explore a variety of engineering fields while living on campus next week.
The students participating in “Future Girls @ The Beach STEM Residential Program,” will do activities with CSULB students and go on field trips to science and engineering labs and the Columbia Memorial Space Center. They will also participate in workshops that better inform them about opportunities in STEM. Learn more.
Staff can participate in a scavenger hunt, talent show, luncheon and family game night during Staff Days of Summer August 4 - 7.
The events are scheduled as follows:
August 4: Talent Show 12 to 1 pm
August 5: Scavenger Hunt from 12 to 1 pm
August 6: Staff Day Luncheon. Includes vendor booths, gift drawings and a rummage sale. The pre-paid box lunch can be picked up from 11:30 am to 1 pm at the Nugget Grill and Pub.
August 7: Night of Games at the Student Union
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs website has a new look. The redesigned site includes much of the information faculty need for compliance, pre- and post-award. New features include videos on how to run financial reports and how to set up RSS feeds from search engines for funding opportunities with specific key search terms.
