Copyright and Fair Use Guide for Faculty
With publishers becoming more litigious with respect to copyright violations, the Library has developed a website to help faculty make sense of copyright laws, especially as it pertains to use of their teaching materials.
Change to Finals Schedule
Please note the schedule for final examinations for the fall semester is Thursday, December 12 to Wednesday, December 18, with one exception.
Wednesday-only classes currently scheduled for final examinations on Wednesday, December 18th will have their finals rescheduled at the same time on Wednesday, December 11th.
Become an Autism Ally
Disabled Student Services has created a new program to help faculty and staff better support students on the Autism spectrum.
Innovation Challenge for New Business Ventures
Faculty are encouraged to share information about CSULB’s Innovation Challenge with their students. Entrepreneurial students can learn more about the program, which gives them the chance to earn $10,000 for a new business venture, at one of the upcoming information sessions being held in ECS 312:
- September 10, 4 pm to 5 pm
- September 23, 12 pm to 1 pm
The Center for Scholarship Information serves as a campus resource for students, faculty and staff who are interested in applying for or creating scholarships.
Faculty who maintain scholarships in their departments are encouraged to provide information about the award with Valerie Kelsey so that it can be included on the center’s website.
