The campus will hold a memorial service on Thursday, August 15 from 12 – 1:30 pm for Bob Rodgers, Media Production Specialist in Instructional Technology Support Services who passed away in June. It will be held at the University Student Union, 2nd floor Ballroom.

A memorial service for former faculty member, baseball head coach and 49er Hall of Fame inductee Bob Wuesthoff will be held at Blair Field on Tuesday, July 23 at 10 am. Wuesthoff died on July 12 at the age of 87.
Wuesthoff was a physical education professor at CSULB and was the founder, long-time director and continuing consultant to the summer 49er Camp. He served as head coach for the Long Beach State baseball program for six years (1964-69), was an associate athletic director and served as the interim athletics director during the fall of 1969.
A memorial service will be held for Professor Emeritus Hans Lampl on Saturday, August 3 at 2 pm at the Gerald Daniel Recital Hall. Dr. Lampl passed away on May 11 at the age of 94.
Dr. Lampl conducted the orchestra and taught music at CSULB from 1965-1983. He also served as president of Long Beach Opera and was the author of Turning Notes into Music.
