Did You Know?
Dr. Jonathan Talberg and the Cole Conservatory Chamber Choir will be performing with the Rolling Stones. Yes, the Rolling Stones.
Dr. Talberg will conduct 26 members of the choir on May 3 at the Staples Center as they join Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and the rest of the band in performing “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.”
This isn’t the first non-traditional appearance the Chamber Choir has made this year. In March, the Choir joined composer Eric Whitacre and two other Southern California area choirs on stage at the TED Conference. Led by Whitacre, they performed with other singers from more than 30 countries via Skype. You can watch their performance online.
Please send submissions for the Wednesday Message by 5 pm Monday.
