National Teachers Examinations

 

The following policy statement, recommended by the Academic Senate at its meeting of September 29, 1977, and approved by the President on October 14, 1977, is as follows:

If a Single Subject Credential student completes at least 18 semester hours of approved course work in the subject area he wishes to add-on and has a GPA of 3.0 and an overall. of 2.5, and he passes the National Teachers Examination (NTE) at the 40th percentile, the University will support his appeal for an add-on authorization to the Single Subject Credential.
