Software Depot Installation Policy

CSU, Long Beach participates in the CSU-Microsoft Campus Agreement. It is a program coordinated by Academic Technology Services. The license requires division, department or college technologists to install Microsoft products, such as Microsoft Visual Studio for Windows, on university-owned workstations. Contact your division, department or college technologist for assistance.

Ordering Faculty, staff and students may purchase Visual Studio for Windows at the University Computer Store for personally owned computers used primarily for university business.

Campus-owned Computers

If the software you download from Software Depot is in the ISO format and your CD-burning software does not support ISO images, OAT recommends downloading ISO Recorder.

Visual Studio 2010 is part of the CSULB Microsoft Campus Agreement Program. Activate the product using CSULB's volume license key ( serial number ) for this product during the installation process. The license key is displayed as part of the product details in Software Depot. Log in to Software Depot and then click on the "My Software" link in the upper left hand corner of the page. Click on the link labeled "Secure Download" for the product and activation code.
