Software Depot Installation Policy

These software applications may be installed on campus computers by authorized campus techs. Faculty and staff may install up to two copies on personally owned computers where they have exclusive use (see instructions below). This software may only be used for university business.

Students can subscribe to the Adobe Creative Cloud on an individual basis for use on personally owned computers.

Download Instructions

Step One: Start on CSULB Software Depot

  1. Log into CSULB Software Depot and enter in your campus ID and password.
  2. Start Shopping and Click on the 'Adobe CC Work at Home' tab
  3. Click on 'Adobe Creative Cloud' button and "Add to Cart"
  4. Click on ‘I am placing the order for myself’, and then click on 'Check Out'
  5. Read the offer information and select 'I Accept'.
  6. Confirm your contact information and select 'Proceed with Order'.

Step Two: Copy your Personal Redemption Code

  1. Copy your personal redemption code. 
  2. The 24 character redemption code is in red text at the bottom of the screen.
  3. To easily copy, highlight the text and hit CTRL+C for Windows or Command+C for Mac. Alternatively you could print out this page for your records to refer to during the redemption process.
  4. Click the 'Redeem Now!' button. This will take you to Adobe's website where you will use the redemption code.

Step Three: Download the Adobe Software

Now on Adobe's website, follow the onscreen instructions to redeem your redemption code and download Adobe Creative Cloud software.

  1. If you already have an Adobe ID, click the 'Sign In' link toward the bottom of the page. If you do not have an Adobe ID, fill in your first name, last name, email address, and a password in the requested fields. Click 'Sign Up' when you are finished.
  2. Enter your redemption code (paste in the text by clicking in the first field, and then hitting CTRL+V for Windows, or Command+V for Mac).
  3. Click on 'Activate Membership'.
  4. Click 'Get Started' at Start Using Creative Cloud prompt.
  5. Click on 'Download the Creative Cloud app' button.
