Alumnus Leeav Sofer, baritone
Leeav Sofer has built a successful portfolio career leading Mostly Kosher, teaching at the Coburn school, and directing Urban Voices (a choir composed of Skid Row residents who join with members of the LA Phil, LA Master Chorale, and Colburn School students to perform The Messiah Project every December). He composed the music and performed in the highly acclaimed play Man Covets Bird in two runs at the 24th Street Theater, and was named one of Jewish Journal's "30 under 30." In 2016, Mostly Kosher was the first Jewish band invited to perform during the Disneyland Festival of Holidays. In 2017, the Disney Corporation requested a second band perform at Disney World in Florida in December. Members of Mostly Kosher include alumni Mike King, Will Brahm, Eric Hagstrom, and frequent guest Anibal Seminario.
