Luis Molina is a composer and performer of electronic and acoustic music. Colored by the diverse cultural and socioeconomic influences of his upbringing, his pieces range from solo piano works to computer music. Luis’ music was most recently performed as part of the Hear Now Festival of LA Composers.

In addition to composing, Luis’ teaching interests range from traditional music theory to music technology classes. He is currently a lecturer at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, Long Beach where he teaches a wide variety of theory and musicianship classes as well as an Associate Faculty member at MiraCosta College, teaching in their Music Technology program.

Luis has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Cypress College for the past 10 years, guiding students through recording concepts and putting them into action during lab. He is an alumnus of the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music, where he received his master’s degree with a focus in music composition.
