Events and Announcements

  • The Third Annual Student Research Poster Session will be held on the evening of April 15, Wednesday, 5pm to 7pm, in the Hall of Science 3rd floor. This event is sponsored by the South Coast Geological Society and will feature posters of research in which the students have participated.
  • Check out our new introductory video of the Department that you may have seen playing at GSA.
  • The Department of Energy Geothermal Technologies Program recently awarded CSULB a $505,000 grant to develop and test new hydraulic testing methods. These methods will be used to characterize flow connectivity in Geothermal fields, which is often a limiting factor in their efficiency. For more information click here.
