Sarah Tatting-Kinzy is an award-winning screenwriter with extensive entertainment industry experience in new media, production management, and music.

A Minneapolis native, Ms. Tatting-Kinzy relocated to Los Angeles to earn her MFA degree from the American Film Institute. As an undergraduate, she attended the University of St. Thomas and completed additional coursework at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts to receive her BA in Communication and English. Post-graduation, Ms. Tatting-Kinzy returned to the American Film Institute and the University of St. Thomas as a guest speaker and lecturer. She also volunteered as a mentor for the Young Storytellers writing program.

During a six-year stint with Disney-ABC, Ms. Tatting-Kinzy wrote and produced web content for SOAPnet and ABC Daytime. She also field produced live events, working as a red carpet correspondent and backstage reporter for the Daytime Emmy Awards. As a freelance screenwriter, she has developed feature film and television projects for Voltage International Productions, Giant Tarantula Productions, independent producers, directors, and animation artists. Her production management experience includes video shoots for Goldman Sachs in Tokyo and San Jose, large dealer events for GM, and multi-media exhibitions for the Tyco sailing team as part of the around-the-world Volvo Ocean Race.

Sarah Tatting-Kinzy's scripts have been recognized in a variety of competitions, winning the Grand Prize in aTalentScout TV, the Genre Prize (Thriller/Horror) in American Accolades, and placing as a finalist at Scriptapalooza, the Austin Film Festival, Slamdance, the CBS Diversity Institute Writers program, and others.

She is also a singer and has performed with a number of rock bands in the Los Angeles and South Bay areas.
