Rafael Nieto is an Emmy and Golden Mike Award-winning television professional with expertise in video production and post production. His industry credits as a Producer, Director, Technical Director, Camera Operator, and Broadcast Engineer include work for KVEA Telemundo, Galavision, KTTV Fox 11, and ABC Sports, among others. His production experience includes such diverse programming as the "1984 Summer Olympic Games," "Good Day LA," and "Noticiero Telemundo 52," as well as the news documentaries "Amor En Tiempos del SIDA" and "Cesar Chavez: Herencia de Un Heroe."

Mr. Nieto teaches Latin American Cinema in the Department of Film and Electronic Arts and Freshmen Orientation classes for the Educational Opportunity Program at Cal State Long Beach. He has also served as Line Producer and Technical Supervisor/Editor for the CSU Long Beach Latino Faculty and Staff Association's live "Sounds of Mariachi" benefit concert and video production in 1995, and Technical Consultant for many student arts performances and sports television tapings on campus.

Mr. Nieto holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Electronic Arts from CSULB and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Screenwriting from California State University, Fullerton.
