Lecturer Vasquez is a Licensed Contractor in the state of California, a Certified Residential Building Inspector by the International Code Council, and LEED Accredited Professional with the U.S. Green Building Council. He has a strong academic background, and hands on experience in the fields of Architecture, Construction, and Interior Design. With over sixteen years of professional work experience, Josue has developed a strong background in all aspects of project coordination, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. Project types include Mixed-Use Commercial, Commercial Interiors, Custom Residential, and Multi-Family projects. Josue has served as Project Manager and Job Captain for award winning commercial and residential projects. In 2003, a Carl’s Jr. Restaurant Prototype received the Gold Nugget Award of Merit. In 2008, a Single Family Spanish Colonial Style Spec. Home received the Gold Nugget Grand Award. He was published in the book “Designing with Light, The Creative Touch”, by Carol Soucek King, M.F.A., Ph.D., for his design work on a custom single family residence in Santa Monica, California.

Josue is a part-time instructor at the Contractors State License Services School located in Long Beach. He teaches ICC Residential Building Inspector, and EPA Lead-Safe Certified Contractor, certification exam prep courses. On various occasions, Josue has lectured students at the Art Institute in San Bernardino on design conceptualization, construction documents, and construction coordination, and also served as a guest juror for corporate interiors, and senior interior design studios. Currently, Josue is a Project Manager at Sisson Design Group, in Ontario California.
