Student Learning Outcomes (SLO)

  1. Graduates possess an understanding of two and three-dimensional design principles.

  2. Graduates have an understanding of model making methods.

  3. Graduates possess an understanding in human factors: anthropometrics, ergonomics
    and proxemics.

  4. Graduates have the ability to communicate concepts using 3D software packages such as
    Solidworks and AutoCAD.

  5. Graduates have the ability to communicate concepts using 2D software packages such as
    Photoshop and Illustrator.

  6. Graduates process the knowledge of materials, and basic understanding of manufacturing process.

  7. Graduates have the ability to understand the industrial design process (research, ideation,
    and execution).

  8. Graduates have knowledge of the history of design and design methodologies.

  9. Graduates possess the ability to effectively produce a resume, portfolio, and graphically
    communicate their projects to clients, colleagues and potential employers.
