Kevin and Kent Peterson

Congratulations to College of Engineering alumni Kevin and Kent Peterson (EE and ME graduates, 1986) for receiving City National Banks 2012 Entrepreneurs of the Year award. Twin brothers Kevin and Kent add this award to an already impressive list of accolades for their cutting-edge work in sustainable engineering and green building design.

Over the past two decades, their Long Beach-based consulting engineering and commissioning firm, P2S Engineering, has been providing innovative engineering solutions for commercial, industrial, institutional, and military facilities, including most recently an environmentally friendly power grid for the Port of Long Beach. Kevin and Kent are also involved in a wide range of philanthropic activities in the Southern California community and frequently travel abroad to raise awareness about energy efficiency and green building practices. Kent serves on the CSULB College of Engineering Deans Advisory Council.
