If you'd like to contribute to this newsletter, feel free to send contributions to Dr. Monge. Contributions can range from notification of jobs, internships, fellowships, and scholarships to announcements of campus events, and questions you'd like answered which would be relevant (primarily) to CECS students.
I would especially be interested to know if you've landed a job, internship, scholarship that you learned about via the newsletter!
The Learning Assistance Center provides support for free tutoring of several CECS classes: CECS-110, CECS-174, CECS-201, CECS-261, CECS-274, CECS-277, CECS-301. Tutoring is available Fridays between 10am and 4pm in ECS-403.
The CECS Lab Information website describes information on all topics related to the CECS labs including submission of paper for printing, creating a CECS web page, remote access to Linux and terminal server, etc.
The following is now the guideline being used for transfer students to satisfy the course requirements of ENGR 101, 102 and CECS 105. Each of these is a 1-unit seminar that together satisfy GE Category E.

Embedded Applications Technology Society (EAT) is a student organization geared toward Computer Engineering and Computer Science majors and focused around the world of embedded systems. We participate in corporate networking, local, national, and international competitions, and have fun exploring fascinating and advanced topics in our field. Our lab offers computers that are fully customizable, run by and for our members, and we have a full array of hardware design equipment. We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4pm in ECS-304.
