Dean's Message

The CSU and CSULB have a long and proud tradition in providing affordable educational access to diverse and underserved populations. We do an excellent job of attracting and preparing a diverse student body that has a high ratio of underserved and first-generation, college-bound students. That part of the story is well-known. But the part of the story that is not as well known, especially when it comes to the College of Engineering, is the tremendous value of that education, and how efficiently we produce graduates who go on to solid and fulfilling careers with tremendous earning power.
