Attendance Expectations for MARC U*STAR Trainees

Workshops typically occur on Fridays during the Fall and Spring semester. MARC Scholars are REQUIRED to attend all workshops. Workshops are also open to all students at CSULB.

Seminars and Department Colloquia

You should be attending colloquia/seminars within your major departments consistently and visiting with the guest speakers.

Individualized Development Plan (IDP)

We will be working with the Scholar and Mentor throughout the semester on the IDP.

Record Keeping

As part of the MARC U*STAR program, we will be asking you to track all of your activities to help us with our evaluation. Please make sure to log your attendance at colloquia, seminars, and conferences. You will be required to submit a summary of all your activities at the end of each semester.
