The CSULB Confocal Microscopy facility is a multi-user resource that permits scientists at all levels to use confocal microscopy to address questions in a diversity of fields, including (but not limited to) microbiology, cell biology, developmental biology, and neuroscience. The facility (located in the Molecular Life Sciences Center) is always open to authorized users (except for during repairs or scheduled upgrades). It was created in 2007 with a grant from the National Science Foundation (DBI 0722757: PI B. Pernet, co-PIs E. Gharakhanian, D. Lee, and M. Myers), and with support from the CSULB College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and the Department of Biological Sciences.
For answers to questions that are not covered on this site, please contact Dr. Bruno Pernet (firstname.lastname@example.org, 562-985-5378). If you have suggestions on how to improve the facility, please let us know.
