The College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics is pleased to announce that effective October 3, 2016, the Science Learning Center is under the direction of the Science Education Department. A task force, consisting of CNSM faculty, staff, and students, as well as several community members, has been appointed to consider how best to build upon the strong foundation laid by Jim McKibben before his retirement in order to take the SLC to the next level of excellence utilizing evidence-based best practices. Student volunteers familiar with the workings of the SLC have also been tapped to provide their ideas and suggestions for continuing the high standard of learning experiences within this unique learning space. We hope to be able to bring the Center back "online" sometime in the coming Spring 2017 semester.
