CNSM Academic Advising Center

Freshmen Mandatory Advising Workshop Signup

All CSULB freshmen are required to receive Freshmen Mandatory Advising (FMA) during their first and second semester at CSULB. Students in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (CNSM) must attend a freshman advising workshop facilitated by the CNSM Academic Advising Center in order to have their advising hold lifted.

Changing Out of CNSM?

If you are planning to change your pre-major outside of CNSM, then you do not need to fill out this questionnaire. However, you must first contact us at CNSM-Advising@csulb.edu to let us know of the change (please include your name and student id number). After contacting us, you may need to contact the University Center for Undergraduate Advising to follow their instructions to have your freshman advising hold lifted.
