Out of 51 entries for the PRSSA 2014 Bateman Case Study Competition, CSULB and two other universities, the University of Florida and Loyola New Orleans, were chosen as finalists.

Our CSULB team finished as a finalist for its “Pay Like a Champion” campaign on behalf of client Popmoney, a personal payment service company. This is the first time the team has finished as a finalist since 2008. The Bateman team members are Andrea Sampson, Francisco Aguirre, Vannyda Thach, Brittney Arriola, and Mariana Vaca.

Congrats to the team members and advisor Joni Ramirez. The only other California school to place in the competition was Chapman University, which received an honorable mention.
