Guest Lecture: "Teaching with the C3 Historical Thinking Standards"

Sponsored by the Department of History and The History Project at CSULB, Dr. Weisner-Hanks’ presentation is titled “Teaching with the C3 Historical Thinking Standards: Working with Primary Sources.”  Merry is a distinguished scholar of early modern history and she is also the lead history writer for the recently released C3 (College, Career, Civic Life) Framework for Social Studies State Standards. With the approaching of Common Core, these C3 standards will have a major impact upon history and social science instruction in California’s public schools.
