Spanish Poet Hosts Poetry Reading and Workshop

Screen Shot 2013-12-03 at 1.18.37 PMOn December 10, Spanish poet Mariano Zaro will perform a poetry reading and workshop in Spanish.
Mariano Zar was born in Borja, Spain in 1963 and currently lives in Santa Monica, CA. In 1996, he published his first book of poetry titled Where From/Desde donde with Bay Books. In 1998, he wrote Poems of Erosion/Poemas de la erosion and in 2008, he published The House of Mae Rim/La casa de Mae Rim. His most recent book, Tres letras/Three Letters, was published in Barcelona in 2012.
At 6:15 p.m., there will be a short presentation from the Cultural Ambassadors Program on teaching English in Spain. (In English)
