Second-Annual Latino Health Equity Conference: "Enriching Health Sciences through Latino Leadership"

The theme of the conference is “Enriching Health Sciences through Latino Leadership/Enriqueciendo Ciencias de la Salud a Través del Liderazgo Latino.” The conference will feature keynote speaker David Hayes-Bautista, Director of UCLA’s Center for the Study of Latino Health and Culture, as well as cross-disciplinary health-disparities researchers from USC, UC Irvine, the University of Texas, and the University of Arkansas. Afternoon breaks are tailored to students and health practitioners, providing information about the Affordable Care Act, effective community-based programs, and careers in research and medicine. Students will also present posters of their research.
