Fall 2012 Russian Film Series: "The Woman with the 5 Elephants"
October 1, 2012The Russian documentary film The Woman with the 5 Elephants (2009, 93 min.), directed by Vadim Jendreyko, is a profile of Svetlana Geier who was the pre-eminent translator of Dostoyevsky’s novels into German.
This film will be presented by Dr. Harold Schefski (RGRLL).
