[ October 4, 2012; 12:00 pm . ] Celebrating National Latino Heritage Month, the Department of Chicano and Latino Studies has organized this event featuring poets from Mexico and the United States. We are fortunate to have such prominent authors visit our campus to read their poetry and discuss what it means to Live and Write On La Frontera.

This event is free and open to the public.

George L. Graziadio Center Workshop: New Audiences for Italian — French and Italian for Spanish Speakers Through Intercomprehension

Fall 2012 Latin American Film Series: “Aqui Entre Nos” (“Between Us”)

[ October 4, 2012; 7:00 pm . ] Aqui Entre Nos (Between Us, 2011), directed by Patricia Martínez de Velasco, is a heartfelt dramatic comedy about family relationships. The film runs 95 minutes and is in Spanish with English subtitles.
