Myisha Moody

Biographical Information

Professor Moody joined the CSULB School of Social Work as the Associate Director of Admissions and Student Services in Spring 2012.  Prior to joining CSULB, Myisha was employed with the Los Angeles Urban League, serving with their Neighborhoods@Work initiative to develop and promote strategic health programs and collaborative partnerships within the South L.A. community.  Myisha has also served the South L.A. community as an Organizational Wellness Specialist under a grant that was funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This grant-funded program entitled R.E.A.C.H. (Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health) examined economic and health disparities in the community as well as contributed to the planning and development of wellness programs for organizations throughout Los Angeles County.  Outside of her community health work, Myisha previously worked with the USC School of Social Work as the Assistant Director of Admissions and Financial Aid.
