Principal investigators at the School of Social Work were awarded $247,137 in grants and contracts during Spring, 2011. These contracts focused on improving services to vulnerable populations in the areas of child welfare and alleviating poverty. The investigators are partnering with both non-profit and public agencies for training, consultation, and program evaluation. It is likely that all of these practice-based grants will result new knowledge and better outcomes for youth and families. Congratulations to these faculty members in their successful contributions to improving social conditions throughout our community!
