Traditional Basic Semester/Trimester Program

Spring 2016 : All applicants must submit the School of Nursing Supplemental Application to the SON from August 1 to September 10, 2015.

We can consider for admission three categories of applicants for the Traditional Basic Semester/Trimester BSN Program: CSULB Students, Undergraduate Transfer Students and Applicants with degrees in other fields. Applicants must follow instructions for their own category.

CSULB students with less than 75 units apply by submitting a School of Nursing application with all transcripts by the deadline. If you are a CSULB student with more that 75 units, you will be required to complete your current degree. You can then apply as an applicant with a degree in another field.

Undergraduate Transfer students apply to the CSULB via csumentor.edu between August 1 to August 31, 2015. The degree objective is Nursing: Basic. CSULB Enrollment Services will request, by email after September 1, 2015, an Enrollment Services supplemental application from well qualified transfer applicants. Therefore, undergraduate transfer students will be required to submit the CSULB application, the CSULB supplemental application and the School of Nursing application by the deadlines. Applicants offered admission to both CSULB and the SON, will then be requested to submit transcripts promptly to CSULB.

Applicants with degrees in other fields may apply to this program. These applicants must use the graduate CSUmentor.edu application between August 1 to August 31, 2015. The degree objective is Nursing: Additional BS. When Enrollment Services requests official transcripts, the applicants must quickly comply.
