Gerontology Program Application Process
1. Complete the CSULB Graduate or Post-Baccalaureate Application.This is available at any CSU admissions office or at http://www.csumentor.edu.
(NOTE:if you have transcripts from a non-U.S. school, apply for admission to the University using the International Appliction for admission instead of the general graduate admission screen. If you have questions about the application process, please call the office of International Recruitment at 562-985-1854 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
2. In addition to the above, send the following to the Gerontology Program Director :
A. ) 3 letters of recommendation (no specific format required) from age-related career professionals, college professors, and or other employer, reflecting your academic potential and personal qualifications, as well as your ability, sensitivity, and motivation to work with older adults and professionals in the field of aging
B. ) A current resume, including education, employment, and volunteer activities
C. ) A personal statement of interest in aging and your career goals in aging.
The application deadline for Fall admission is June 1 of each year. The application deadline for Spring admission is October 1 of each year.
