Khosrow Moshirvaziri is a Professor of Information Systems and Director of Master of Science Program at CSULB. He holds three M.S. and Engineer Degrees from Stanford University, in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, and Computer Sciences, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UCLA. His prior experience includes ten years of scientific research as a staff scientist at IBM where he worked on IBM product developments, on performance evaluation, and on simulation of advanced IBM processors. He has served the field of math programming; by providing the scientific community with tools and theory to tackle mathematically intractable problems with applications in Engineering Design and Business. He has served as grant proposal evaluator for NSF and DARPA. He is a full member of INFORMS, Track Chair of Western DSI, and on Editorial Board of Journal of Applied Mathematics and Decision Sciences, Advances in Operations Research, and Journal of Industrial and Systems Engineering. He also serves on editorial review/advisory board of several other scientific journals.
