Boeing Co. Sponsoring Business Case Study Competition for Cal State Long Beach Undergraduate, Graduate Students

The Boeing Co. is looking for eight teams of students from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) to compete in the Boeing Business Case Study Competition, the application period for which begins Monday, Sept. 9, and runs through Sept. 20.

Sponsored by the company’s Business Career Foundation Program, the case study contests will feature teams of three to five students that will test their finance, market research and global strategy skills on an aerospace industry inspired business case.

The competition will kick off on Thursday, Sept. 26, at which time the teams will have two-and-a-half weeks to work on the case study.  Team presentations are due on Oct. 16 with the contest judging taking place on Oct. 18.

The top two teams from the competition will win the chance to network with Boeing executives, tour the company’s satellite facilities and get an inside scoop on job opportunities for recent college graduates*.

To register, one team member must send an e-mail to during the application period. The e-mail should include the team’s name and team member information, including name, e-mail address, major, grade point average and an attached resume from each team member.

The Boeing Case Study Competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students.

The Boeing Co. is the second largest employer in the city of Long Beach, and many of its employees are CSULB alumni.  In fact, CSULB is one of the company’s focus recruiting schools, targeting business students for jobs across the Boeing enterprise.
