Robert Chi Named Permanent Associate Dean for Accreditation

During the Fall Semester, the Associate Dean for Accreditation Search Committee conducted a search for the permanent Associate Dean. The committee finished its work, along with interviews by the appropriate persons, as the semester was ending. During the Winter Session, I worked with the Provost on the permanent appointment. I am pleased to announce that the term “Acting” can be removed from Robert Chi’s title, and he has been appointed by the Provost as our permanent Associate Dean for Accreditation.

I would like to thank the committee members for all their diligent work that spread across the Spring 2012 and Fall 2012 semesters, and I also thank all the CBA faculty members who were part of the interview process.

Robert Chi deserves a considerable amount of thanks, too, because he served in an acting position for one and a half years, and he did so with complete commitment and dedication. I thank him for his efforts to date and look forward to working with him over the coming months and years. Please join me in congratulating Robert on his permanent appointment.
