Michael Anderson is an entrepreneurial advisor and business development professional. Since graduating CSULB, he helped to found a technology investment group called "The Tech Shark Investors" and has since moved on to working as a business development professional for a number of tech startups. With an extensive background in business development, private equity, market research/analysis, and event coordination, he is well suited for taking startups to the next level. He graduated from CSULB with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, Emphasis in "US-China Trade and Education". He currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Alumni Association and the Board of Directors for RotarAct of Long Beach (a division of Rotary International).
Daren Lauda joined Salesforce.com as Region Vice President in May 2010. He brings more than 18 years in technology sales to his role at Salesforce, including global experience in building and managing sales teams with market-leading companies. Daren is responsible for leading an enterprise sales team in California. Prior to joining Salesforce, Daren served as a Region Vice President at TRIRIGA, Sales Vice President at PTC, Region Vice President at Arbortext, and as a Territory Manager for FileNet. Daren also served as an Infantry Team Leader in the US Army.
Daren earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Management from Pepperdine University, and a Masters of Business Administration from California State University at Long Beach. He lives in Orange County with his wife, and two children.
Jose "Alfredo" Martinez
Alfredo Martinez graduated from CSULB in 2002 after 8 years as a part-time student. He earned Bachelor in Business Administration with an emphasis on Management Information Systems. He’s the first person in his family to earn a college degree even though he didn’t speak English when he migrated from Mexico at age 19.
Alfredo also a proud family man, father of two beautiful kids, with a passionate mission to serve and make a difference. He is a key contributor at the Orange County chapter of the Project Management Institute, Toastmasters, and the Anaheim Little League.
Professionally, he’s made his careering supporting healthcare organizations to deliver effective, innovative care through technology and currently works as Director of Project Implementation for Molina Healthcare, a Healthcare Management Organization, where he’s responsible for successfully integrating business acquisitions and implementing startups.
Ryan McKinney’s path to his current position was not direct. After graduating from Concordia University, Portland with a bachelor’s in business administration/marketing, he entered the banking and insurance industry. At first, he sold insurance products and banking services in the Pacific Northwest, following many banks through various mergers and management changes. A few years later, he accepted a position with ORIX, a Japanese finance company with a U.S. division that financed trucks, trailers and heavy equipment directly to the consumer. As Vice President of the insurance division, Ryan combined his insurance knowledge and sales experience while managing the daily operations of the division.
In 2001, after almost a decade in banking and insurance, Ryan transitioned into fundraising and development when the President of Concordia University, Portland, offered him the position of Director of Development. Ryan used his marketing and sales experience to raise funds for Concordia, and he found the work very fulfilling. Two years later, Ryan and his wife moved to Irvine, California, where he became the Director of Estate Gifts for Concordia University, Irvine. In 2008, Ryan discovered a wonderful opportunity to work with Dean Michael Solt and joined the College of Business Administration at California State University, Long Beach as Director of Development.
Jason Mills is a Business Development professional with over 15 years of experience helping clients evaluate and adopt technology solutions to create a competitive advantage. His career started in the Novell channel with Novell Netware, Novell GroupWise and Document Imaging solutions. In 2001, Jason joined the Microsoft partner channel focused on ERP solutions (Accounting and Inventory Management) for small and mid-sized businesses. His career continued by joining Integrated Systems Solutions and supporting their network infrastructure, Cloud Services and .net application development sales on top of their ERP practice. Jason’s recent efforts earned Integrated Systems Solutions a 2010 President's Club for Microsoft Dynamics award.
At CSULB, Jason earned double bachelor degrees in both accounting and finance. He joined Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity, and served as President for two consecutive terms amongst other officer positions. In his career, Jason is an active speaker on business, social media and technology topics including presentations at the Irvine Spectrum, Microsoft Launch events, Microsoft offices, Chamber of Commerce events and past fraternity alumni presentations. Jason serves as a project manager for Hope Worldwide, a not-for-profit organization focused on serving the poor and as the treasurer for the Southern California International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners.
Roxanne (Brogan) Eisel was the driving force that launched and implemented Dean Solt’s vision to create the CBA Alumni & Friends group. She recruited the first advisory board and is now an active member on the board. A corporate professional and creative entrepreneur, Roxanne has acquired 20+ years experience in sales, marketing, customer service, and supply chain management. Currently, she is a Healthcare Sales Director for UPS.Roxanne believes in community involvement and social networking. As a CBA Alumni & Friends advisor, she loves connecting CBA alumni within the business community. She served many years as a USC Marshall School Mentor in the Career Advantage Program, as a Board Member of the Marshall Alumni Chapter in Orange County, and as an MBA Applicant Interviewer. On a personal level, she is active in the PTA, Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts. Her public speaking has been recognized by Toastmasters and ABSOC. And, she has served as President of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, Long Beach Alumnae chapter.
Roxanne has a B.S. in Business Administration from CSU, Long Beach and an M.B.A. from USC’s Marshall School of Business.
Carl Derrick Wolfgang Zambrano Morandell is a 4th generation wine merchant and the Sales Manager of Morandell Imports, a Los Angeles based wine, beer and spirits company. He has lived in Săo Paulo, Brazil and Salzburg, Austria. He currently serves as the senior stage manager for After Hours Lifestyle. Carl earned a degree in financial investments in 2011 from the College of Business Administration at CSULB.
As a student at CSULB, Car proudly served for four years on men’s crew and reached the ranking of fifth in the western conference and sixth in the nation. He also served on the executive board of the International Business Association (I.B.A.) from 200-2009, first as the V.P. of Finance and then as the Associated Business Students Organization Council (ABSOC) Representative. In 2009, Carl joined the Financial Management Association’s executive board where he served from 2009-2010, first as the V.P. of Chapter Relations and later as the V.P. of Finance. For the school term of 2009-2010, Carl had the honor of serving as the Executive V.P. of ABSOC. He looks forward to being part of the creation of the new alumni organization within the College of Business Administration.
Mubashar "Moby" Shaikh
Moby Shaikh is proactive, goal-oriented and focused professional with over 11 years of IT experience with concentration on Project Management in the last 5 years. He led the execution of complex IT Projects in fast paced environments for a wide range of industries including: Banking, Healthcare, Public Sector and Telecom. Moby has the ability to take ownership, resolve project issues and facilitate communication between stakeholders. He save costs and delivers successful results.
Moby has a strong background in software development. He has built applications for standalone systems, client /server environments and the web using wide range of technologies including asp, .net, vb, delphi, xml, html, java, Oracle developer. He has valuable experience in implementing ERP/CRM solutions, Document Management and Workflow systems.
Moby received his Bachelor of Science degree in MIS from California State University, Long Beach, California (1999); He also received his MBA from Warwick Business School in Coventry, England (2008); Moby has also achieved the status of a Project Management Professional – PMP (2003).
Michael E. Solt
Michael Solt is Dean of the College of Business Administration and Professor of Finance at California State University, Long Beach. Previously, he was the Associate Dean for the Lucas Graduate School of Business at San Jose State University. Dean Solt has a 30-year career teaching and researching Finance and has won teaching awards at SJSU and the University of Cincinnati. His teaching focus is new venture finance and international finance, and he teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses.
Dean Solt’s current research interests lie in new venture finance and entrepreneurship. He has also researched international finance and many aspects of investments. His work has been published in the Journal of Business, the American Sociological Review, the Journal of Product Innovation Management, Financial Management, the Journal of Portfolio Management, the Financial Analysts Journal, and the American Business Law Journal.
Amanda Green serves as a Special Projects Analyst at Blue Garnet Associates, a business strategy-consulting firm that works with organizations to create lasting social change and a better Southern California. Her unique role allows her to be involved with many aspects of the business, with her projects centering on building the firm’s infrastructure and systems to support its growth. Specifically, she works on customer relationship and knowledge management, event planning, website development and marketing.
In addition, Amanda is a participant in the Riordan Volunteer Leadership Development Program, where she has been given the opportunity to learn about nonprofit board service and to intern at a nonprofit organization. She is also a StartingBloc fellow in the Los Angeles 2012 Institute for Social Innovation, a program focused on building the next generation of social entrepreneurs.
Amanda graduated from CSULB in 2011 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and a Minor in Business Administration. She has a strong connection with the CBA as she was involved in the Associated Business Students Organization Council as Assistant MIE Chair and Vice President of Student Services. Amanda is excited to continue her work with the CBA as a new addition to the CBA Alumni & Friends Advisory Board.
Mario Archaga joined UPS while a Junior at CSULB and a co-owner of a fast growing auto parts business with 12 employees. Sale of the business, a year after graduation, allowed for 23 three years of focused effort at the global logistics leader managing Ground / Air / International Logistics Operations, Sales, Sales Operations and Management, Sales Training and Program Development, Executive Coaching, and leading Corporate Sales Strategy Execution for 13 Western States.
Mario is currently leading a team of International Consultants whose charge is to assist businesses in the increase of their revenue streams through international expansion in Southern California, Las Vegas and Hawaii. Mario also owns a custom surf board design and manufacturing company that annually creates a limited number of custom hand crafted American surfboards for a discerning clientele. Active in community affairs, Mario is president of his local community board of directors and has served his local Little League board for several years.
Thushan graduated from CSULB, College of Business Administration & Marketing in 2000. He was very much involved in leadership roles as President of ABSOC (Associated Business Students Organizations Council) and Delta Sigma Pi. He continues to be involved with ABSOC organizations and CBA by being a guest speaker for the last 6 years.
Thushan has over 15 years of hands-on experience in event staffing, event management, consulting and field operations. He has worked his way up the ranks at Staff Pro, holding a flawless record, from a guest services employee, supervisor, scheduler, recruiter, event manager, account manager to the general manager of Staff Pro’s largest and most successful branch office. His role now as Vice President of Business Development and Operations allows him to be hands-on with all Staff Pro offices and clients as well as new clients, to make sure all their needs and expectations are met. With his business background, he has been a key team player in generating and maintaining key relationships, quality control, sales and new business. He has been instrumental in budgeting, strategic planning, staffing and managing hundreds of diverse events from concerts, conventions, trade shows, sporting events, award shows and special events.
Tracey Lewis Rendinelli
Tracey Lewis Rendinelli joined UPS while still attending CSULB as a part time telephone representative. After 25 years, and many assignments, she leads a team of 53 International Sales Professionals for 17 Western States. Tracey earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations from CSULB. She brings with her over 20 years of sales management and development experience to the CBA Alumni and Friends Board of Advisors. Tracey lives in Fullerton with her husband, Mark, and their two dogs and a cat.
Travis Buchanan joined Keystone Mortgage Corporation in October 2010. His role includes sourcing, analyzing, and underwriting commercial real estate loans as well as performing property inspections and financial analysis for the company’s commercial loan portfolio. Prior to joining Keystone, Travis was a Financial Advisor at RBC Wealth Management in Beverly Hills. There he focused on investment, insurance, estate, and personal and corporate retirement planning. During his three year career at RBC he obtained his Series 7, Series 66, multiple insurance licenses and earned his Certified Financial Planner™ Designation (CFP®). During the same period he Co-Founded Fedt Attire, a custom fit suit and dress shirt company where as CEO he was responsible for building the internal & external operations platform and managing international supplier relationships, the supply chain, and sales.
Travis earned a Bachelor's of Science; Finance, Real Estate, Law from California State University, Long Beach in 2007. He competed for the University’s Division I Water Polo team and earned All American and All Conference Honors, was President of the Student Athlete Advisory Council as well as a President's Ambassador for the University. He currently sits on the Associate Board for Heart of Los Angeles Youth; a non-profit focused on delivering programs in Arts, Academics, and Athletics for underserved youth and stays involved at CSULB as an Innovation Challenge Mentor and member of the LB State Athletics Board of Advisors. Travis currently lives in Manhattan Beach California where he grew up.
Lauren Garcia joined the Northwestern Mutual Family as an intern in 2011. She was given the opportunity to continue her journey with Northwestern Mutual as a full time financial representative in October. Her focus is to help individuals and families reach their financial dreams backed by the strength of Northwestern Mutual. Her specialties include insurance, retirement planning and education planning. She is currently working on obtaining her 6 and 63. Shortly after, she plans to get her CLU and CFP designations.
Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science; Management, Operations Management, and Marketing from California State University Long Beach in 2011. There she served as Vice President for Society of Advancement for Management. She prided herself in the growth and development of the board members and members of the organization. She looks forward to utilizing her tools in help making the College of Business Alumni and Friends Association a strong organization that all Alumni will want to be a part of.
Bobby Godina has more than 8 years Management and Operations Management experience. Bobby is currently the General Manager for the Target in Huntington Beach. Target is one of the most powerful and recognizable corporations in America today. As the General Manager, Bobby is committed to using his business, leadership and people skills to inspire exceptional performance. As the leader of nearly 200 team members, Bobby is dedicated to maximizing sales and profit while developing his team and delivering a Target Brand experience to his guests and team. In his previous position with Target, Bobby was a Remodel Project Manager for 3 stores in the Long Beach area. As the Project Manager, Bobby strategized and planned the execution of the stores transition from a General Merchandise format to the new "P-Fresh" format that includes an expanded market with fresh produce and meat as well as an improved aesthetic shopping experience.
Bobby is a proud alumni of the College of Business Administration. He earned his MBA with an emphasis in Management as well as is undergraduate degree in Economics and a minor in entrepreneurship from Cal State Long Beach. As a student, Bobby was an active leader on campus holding several leadership positions throughout his collegiate career: President of Sigma Pi Fraternity, President of the Interfraternity Council, Chief Justice of the ASI Judiciary, Chief of Staff and named the campuses Most Outstanding Leader his Senior year.
I am currently in the accelerated MBA program at CSULB with an expected graduation of August 2012. I am actively involved in the MBA Association and am serving as the Director of Alumni Affairs. I am also in the CCPE Meeting and Event Planning Certification Program at CSULB, with a completion date of April 2012. I am a member of Meeting Professionals International in which I am attending networking events to pursue a career in corporate meeting and event planning.
I received my Bachelor's Degree from University of California, Irvine in 2008 with a major in Economics and minors in Management and Sociology. I worked as a public accountant from 2007-2011 in both the auditing and tax departments. I am currently serving as the Vendor Donations Officer and Decorations Director for Olive Crest:Golden Angels, a charity that helps abused and at-risk children.

Ryan Pinto is currently a Healthcare Procurement professional at Molina Healthcare, Inc., a Fortune 500 company whose mission is to provide quality health services to financially vulnerable families and individuals covered by government-sponsored programs. Ryan’s duties include program management, program implementation, assisting Sr. Buyers and Procurement Managers with RFx process, ERP, strategic sourcing, analyzing and consolidating large amounts of financial data, as well as P&P and SOP development.
Ryan earned his Bachelor’s of Science; Management from California State University, Long Beach in 2011. During his undergraduate studies, Ryan held multiple leadership positions throughout the university. As Chairman of the myBeach Senior Class Committee, Ryan worked closely with a team of eight other student leaders on all budget planning, marketing, and event planning efforts. Ryan also served as the Executive Vice President for the Financial Management Association (FMA) during the 10-11 academic year. Prior to becoming a student leader, Ryan was a Project Coordinator for a Har-Bro, Inc., a Disaster Restoration & Reconstruction Consulting Firm in Signal Hill, CA for 3 ½ years, working full-time while going completing his undergraduate studies.

Kaylee Gialketsis is currently the president of the Associated Business Students Organization Council (ABSOC) at California State University, Long Beach. With the assistance of her executive board she overseas 12 other business organizations in the College of Business Administration. Before becoming president of ABSOC, she began as Vice President of Events for the International Business Association (IBA) and then moved on to become their president. As president of IBA, Kaylee attended meetings and served as a member of the professional chapter of IBA where she worked with members of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce to promote awareness of international trade and its importance within the community. In the coming future, she looks forward to serving ABSOC and the CBA to help promote growth and success.
Her professional career outside of scholastic organizations includes interning at IMG Action Sports on the digital marketing team for the US Open of Surfing. Before this, she worked as an administrative assistant at a construction company called Galkos Construction, Inc. where she dealt with tasks ranging from customer service to accounting and data analysis. In addition, Kaylee was CEO of the International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition, where her team placed first runner up for overall performance and first place for best documents. All of these experiences have been beneficial to her personal and professional development.
The most important aspects of her life include family and friends. She also enjoys traveling and constantly gaining knowledge. In addition, she partakes in many outdoor activities including hiking, wakeboarding, surfing, camping and rock climbing.
