Q: What can the Health Resource Center offer me?
  The Health Resource Center (HRC) can offer additional health information regarding any health topics for all CSULB students. The HRC also offers services and programs to increase health awareness.

Q:  Where is the Health Resource Center?
  It is located on the top floor of the Student Health Center, room 268.

Q: Is the information reliable?
  Yes, all health information provided to students has been screened by our doctors, nurses and staff.

Q: Can I make an appointment to see a doctor?
  Yes, please call the Student Health Center at 562-985-4771.

Q: Who is required to attend the SHAW workshop?
  Females seeking birth control prescriptions are required to attend the workshop prior to receiving a birth control prescription. However, this workshop is open to all male and female CSULB students.

Q: How much does birth control cost?
  Birth control pills cost approximately $2.45-$16.15 dollars per month. We also offer Depo Provera and patch.

Q: Where is the HIV testing?
  HIV testing is located in the Student Health Center, room 101.
Please call to reserve your spot.
 Q: When can I get my HIV testing results?
   HIV results will be given exactly two weeks after the testing date in room 101.
